They can be filled with a variety of ingredients, including meat, vegetables and fruit, and are available in different sizes. These empanada disc doughs are made with natural ingredients, are trans fat-free, and contain no artificial preservatives or additives. They can be prepared in either an oven or deep-fried.

Since our dough product is less than one square foot, you can make turnover pastries faster, therefore more conveniently. This dough product suits nearly every food service establishment with both baking and frying capabilities. Its varied sizes enable you to create a wide range of menu-enhancing recipe variations..
All our dough products are made with 100% all-natural ingredients. There are no artificial preservatives or additives, nor is there any animal fat content, which means they are trans fat-free. At the same time, they are low in fat and sodium, making them a guilt-free food product that also suits the health-conscious market. Since our disco dough products contain no artificial substances, this results in a decreased shelf life. That is why we state 'all-natural,' allowing you to be aware that the life expectancy of the product is reduced, unless otherwise noted.
Great taste and consistent quality help you build repeat business, as commonly done in eateries such as cafeterias, restaurants, and catering services.
Case after case, you will notice that Cubanita Frozen Foods' empanada dough products are not only great-tasting, nutritious, and quick to cook, but also provide the quality your customers demand.
Our empanada dough products have a shelf life and/or expectancy of roughly 2 years when stored properly (meaning kept frozen at all times) and handled with care. If, in the uncommon event, visual signs such as a darker color, specks, blemishes, or mold are found within the product, it would primarily be due to improper handling, inadequate storage, or a lack thereof, as prescribed.
It all begins with durable, state-of-the-art, FDA-approved processing equipment for our empanada dough
1. Defrost the Disco (dough shell) package for 1 hour at room temperature.
2. Place the thawed stack on a flat surface or equivalent, and gently peel off a single Disco (dough shell) from the stack.
3. Select the desired filling (about 1-2 oz) and make sure to orientate it in the center of the disco while lightly moistening the edges with water.
4. Carefully hold onto the edge of the Disco (dough shell) and turn the dough over, forming a half-circle or half-moon shape. Close the sides by gently pressing down on the folded dough with fingers and/or thumbs around the filling bulge.
5. Finish by crimping about a 3/4-inch width size. A fork end is commonly used by simply pressing down along the folded dough edge to assure a tight seal closure. Then, cook according to the instructions below. Make as many as you wish, then store for future use."
